The Chagrin Falls Historical Society Trip Raffle this year has been enhanced thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor.  You may choose one of four trips, or a cash option of $5000.  Here are the trip choices.

Irish Explorer–a trip for two, includes 9 days, 8 nights departing from Dublin on Sundays, fully guided.  Features Clontarf Castle near Dublin, Killarney and the Ring of Kerry, Blarney Castle, Cliffs of Moher, Galway and Connemara, sheep dog demonstration, Abbey Tavern, Donegal in Northern Ireland and the Belleek Pottery.  Includes Daily breakfast, 6 dinners and 2 lunches.  Estimated value with airfare $7100.

Irish Legends–a trip for two includes 9 days, 8 nights.  Departing Dublin Fridays.  Dunboyne Castle Hotel, Killarney and Dingle Peninsula, Cliffs of Moher, Sean’s Bar-oldest Pub in Ireland.  Waterford, Galway, Aran Islands–all fully guided.  Daily breakfast, 6 dinners and 2 lunches.  Estimated value with airfare $6864

Mississippi River Cruise for two in an open veranda Category “C” outside stateroom on the American Queen for 9 days.  All meals and shore excursions.  Wine and beer with dinner.  Cruise dates are in April, May, June, October and November.  Itinerary includes a pre-cruise night in a luxury hotel in New Orleans before starting the cruise to Memphis.  Stops include Oak Valley Manor, LA; old Market Hall in St. Francisville, LA; Natchez, MS with its restored mansions Rosalie, Magnolia Hall and Stanton Hall; Vicksburg, MS for Civil War History; Helena, AR with a shore excursion; “The Birth of the Blues.” Memphis, TN.  Reverse itinerary possible on selected dates.  Estimated value with airfare $9160 (Jensen Travelon is donating an additional $1000 towards the cost of this trip.)
